TWO EXHIBITS are staged by Henry Garner, Ltd., and of these the one -which will certainly attract the eyes of all those interested in vehicles designed for the dual purpose of passenger-carrying and goads-carrying is the Garner Busvan. This has been redesigned in many respects, and it is at, first sight. difficult to believe that it is intended for goods as well as passengers.

It is se arranged that it can be used as a one-man-controlled bus, as the entrance on the off side can be locked and that on tthe other is fitted -with a divided folding door controlled by a lever conveniently situated to the driver's left hand.

The Seats are so arranged that a gangway can be left for facilitating entrance and egress by folding up portions of the seats, whilst, when it is required to use the vehicle for carrying goods, these seats can be folded right up against the sides. When down, the passengers sit facing forwards, and their comfort is ensured by the provision of thick upholstery, even for the gangway seats.

At the rear are large double doors. These and the front doors have glass lights, whilst the windows at the sides are of flexible celluloid and can be opened or closed at will. A double windscreen is fitted, and the upper portion facing the driver can be adjusted. The interior of the roof and the sides are well finished in,light and dark brown varnished natural wood, whilst the outside is finished in red with cream window framing and varnished wood doors.

The Continental engine is a four-cylindered monobloc, and the three-speed gearbox is built up -as a unit with this. The drive is through a, divided propeller shaft with Hardy disc joints to a dual axle with a separate load-carrying member, the final drive being by internal gears. N.A.P. tyres are fitted all round.
