Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A New 20-25-cwt. Chassis. Small Bus. All-weather Coach. Fire Pumps and Municipal Appliances.

STAND No. 91.

MINS year the Dennis exhibit is of particular interest owing to the fast that an entirely new 20-25-cwt, chassis

is shown. A full. description of this vehicle appeared in The Commercial Motor last week. The 20 h.p. engine is unit-constructed with a three speed gearbox, from which the drive is transmitted by an ,enclosed propeller shaft te an overhead worm on the back axle. The duplex rear wheel brakes should be noticed, also the novel fineadjustment on the pedal gear. There are two of these chassis on the stand, one of which is fitted with pneumatic tyres and a 1244-seater bus body.

The well-known Dennis 30., h.p. 2-2ton chassis is also on view, and, in addition, there ie'the 30 h.p, coach chassis. The latter is shown fitted with a 20

seater all-weather coach body, which is described as a four-purpose type. It can be used entirely open, as an open coach with the hood down and the side windows up, with hood up and side windows down, or entirely enclosed. The famous Dennis fire-engines are well represented. The 60-70 h.p. model attracts considerable attention, and is fitted with a patented multi-stage highpressure turbine pump capable of delivering 500-600 gallons per minute. It is stated that this pump weighs 8 cwt. less than others of a similar capacity and less efficient design. In addition, there is the Lennie trailer fire-engine, which is capable of delivering 200-250

gallons per minute. The pump and engine are mounted on a two-wheel under-carriage suitable for trailing by hand or behind another vehicle. Another exhibit of particular interest to municipal authorities is a convertible vehicle which can be used either as a cesspool emptier or a three-way hydraulic tipping wagon.
