Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DRIVING WITHOUT sufficient breaks and speeding at up to 1201un/h in a truck with a disabled speed limiter has cost a driver from Northern Ireland £870 in fines and costs.

Daniel McAllister, of Brownwood Road,Lame, Co Antrim, appeared before the Isle of Anglesey magistrates. He admitted exceeding the daily driving limit, driving for more than 45 hours without the required break, and using a vehicle when the speed limiter was not restricting the maximum speed. Traffic examiner Simon Jenkins said a 40-tonne artic driven by McAllister was checked at the Port of Holyhead last December. Inspection of McAllister's tachograph records showed that on 3 December he had driven for 11 hours 20 minutes and that he had driven for six hours 10 minutes without taking any breaks. The chart showed speeds exceeding

100km/h and up to 120km/h had been recorded.

When interviewed,McAllister had confirmed that the chart was a true reflection of his driving on that day.

The magistrates fined McAllister £300 for each of the drivers' hours offences and £200 for the speed limiter offence. They also ordered him to pay £70 prosecution costs. He was given 28 days in which to pay. A SERIOUS BREACH

The magistrates clearly considered the offences to be fairly serious, with McAllister not only driving for longer than permitted, and without breaks, but also at excessive speeds.
