• Freeplay has launched its latest self-powered lantern— the Supernova.
This latest version is said to be five times brighter than its predecessor, the first-genera tion wind-up lantern. Other features include a choice of two brightness levels and a flashing mode. 430-second wind is said to generate up to four minutes of light output.
The Supernova also contains a set of rechargeable batteries so that it can be used as a conventional torch.
The integral generator allows it to be used as a stand-alone power source for most 3V appliances which are normally powered by two AA batteries. Contact 0800 7313052.
