• Dust Buster air fitter precleaners are new to the UK but, according to accessory supplier Agriemach, they have been approved by some major OEMs.
The precleaner purifies the air by removing up to 99% of dust and dirt before it has a chance to contaminate the air filter. This is said to increase the filter's service life by a factor of 10.
Air being drawn into the engine through the Dust Buster is used to spin a fixed-vane rotor Which in turn sets up sufficient centrifugal forces to accelerate dust, grit and other contaminants away through outlet ports at the base of the unit. the unit is about five years. Agriemach says it has been approved by Caterpillar, Cummins, Deutz, MasseyFerguson and Perkins.
