It was developed for military and industrial applications and comprises a flexible plastic tube with a longitudinal slit through which the bundled cables are passed with the aid of a special spring-loaded applicator tool.
The cables remain easily accessible if additional wiring or connections are required, and the product is re-usable.
Zipper is available in four diameters, for recommended cable bundle diameters of 10, 16, 23 and 25mm, in a choice of black or white. It is made from durable Nylon 66, offering resistance to UV light and providing both mechanical and dielectrical strength.
