• A mother and her two children from Kosovo emerged from a truck belonging to Birmingham-based Chambers 86 Cook last week. Driver Terry Parker called the police in Burton on Trent after hearing
banging noises coming from the back of his trailer, Once police had surrounded the vehicle he opened the shutters to reveal the immigrants. No legal action is expected to be taken against the driver, who had returned from Germany via Belgium.
