I read your Editorial (CM May 6) regarding wrecker men. I do not know if you are aware of the fact, but Wreckers International, an association of which we are members, already grade wrecker vehicles, and have done for some little time now although it is on a voluntary basis.

I personally, and my company, think this is a very good thing as it means that everybody who has his vehicles examined and graded must be of a high standard, which is what we all believetin in this profession.

I think perhaps you could publish something about the Wreckers International grading. It might assist some people who know nothingebout it at the moment to volunteer to have their wreckers graded and tested. Unfortunately, the only type of vehicles they can grade are power-operated wreckers. but this does nowadays cover quite a large field.

I would like to thank you for the interesting articles that periodically appear on this subject in Commercial Motor. J. TAYLOR, Oliver Taylor (Recovery) Ltd, Caterham, Surrey.
