Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OACH operators in the Ambleside area of the Lake District have agreed to a fares schedule. The Northern Traffic Commissioners learned this last week when Messrs. Brown's Motors and Coaches, Ambleside, sought their approval for variations in the routes of certain tours.

These were said to have been made necessary because of restrictions upon coaches imposed by Westmorland County Council, and were approved by the Commissioners.

An application by Mr. C. A. Smith, of Silver Badge Motors, Windermere, for the alignment of his fares with other operators, was also sanctioned.

BY-PASS BRIDGE WORK

WORK will start immediately on the construction of three bridges required for the new Sandiacre-Stapleford by-pass on the A52 road between Nottingham and Derby. The Minister of Transport has authorized the letting of a contract amounting to £213,777 for the work which will take about two years to complete.
