Leading Lady up for sale
'LEADING LADY', the custom-painted 470hp V8Scania R 1433-Series owned by the truck accessory specialist CDC, is up for sale. Owner and CDC boss David Fairweather admits: "As much as I love it, we haven't got the time to keep her running, and, given the price of diesel nowadays, it's rather an expensive advertising tool!"
Fairweather says he was recently offered £29,000 for the specially extended, ex-Graham Cordiner threeaxle tractor unit, but adds: "I'll consider any sensible offer. It recently had a new back end and major refurbishment, but I've got to be a realist it's a very reluctant sale!"
