was previouly the express parcels carrier's southern regional sales manager. He entered the transport industry as a 21-year old express parcels operator and sold his business in 1972. He then joined WHS Transport as an assistant depot manager, and subsequently entered the Wilkinson hierarchy after it took over WHS in 1973.
New sales and operations management have been appointed at North Western BPS, as part of its endeavours to improve its commercial perform ance. Former Cadbury north distribution manager IAN HOWARD is now sales manager, responsible for gaining new business. He will be assisted by three sales consultants, DAVID GRAHAM (Greater Manchester), NEIL WALSHAW (Staffordshire, Cheshire, and North Wales) and BILL SHAW (North Lancashire).
Changes at operational level make ANDREW CALLAGHAN branch manager for Preston and Burnley, and Boa DAVIE branch manager in Mr Callaghan's place at Liverpool. Mr Davie remains sales consultant for Merseyside.
