Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE 193 trolleybuses of Manchester Transport Department cost £30,195 per year less to run than the equivalent number of motorbuses, and their operating costs are lid. per mile lower. These facts are contained in a report by the general manager. Mr. A. F. Neal, to the transport committee, who are to consider it next month.

The undertaking has to consider the replacement of 62 trolleybuses. Mr. Neal points out that arl extended overhead wiring system would have to continue in being for at least 20 years, so that the money spent on the equipment could be written off.
