Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE annual general meeting of the Hull Joint Organization of A.R.O. and C.M.U.A. recently met, when the secretary reported on the satisfactory financial position of the organization and the activities of the C-licence section.

Mr. F. Cook congratulated those responsible on the comprehensive reports presented, and said it was obvious that the local merger was a success. Major J. .A. Iveson gave an address on the legal facilities accorded to members.

The chairman, Mr. A. N. Annison, brought up the question of the amalgamation of A.R.O. and C.M.U.-A. in Yorkshire, and after discussion the following resolution was unanimously carried:—" That a Joint Organization be formed in Yorkshire on the same basis as that in Hull, which includes all road-transport operators irrespective of claSS of licence, 100 per cent. if possible, and representatives from this organization be instructed to press for this to be achieved."

It had been previously agreed that the chairmanship of the Hull Joint Organization be on a rota basis, and Mr. W. L. Dees, therefore, becomes chairman for the ensuing year.
