TIIE name of Burton, Griffiths and Co., Ltd., 6470, Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, S.W.1, is specially wellknown in connection with the marketing of tools and equipment for use in motor factories and body-building shops.
A machine which is handled by this company and which comes under the above category is the Edgar lathe. A comprehensive range of this particular appliance includes the manufacturer's model for universal purposes, namely, for turning, boring, screw-cutting, etc. Amongst the features incorporated in the lathe is an adjustable bed guide,
which is bolted on to the face and divided so as to read inches per foot on
