Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

bought the electronic truck and trailer remarketing business EVS Online Auctions from its parent company European Vehicle Sales for an undisclosed sum.

EVS Online Auctions lists trucks, trailers and plant equipment on a timed basis, in a style similar to eBay. Manheim has also agreed to work with European Vehicle Sales as a strategic partner for delivery of several specific products and services.

Manheim UK chief executive and president of international operations John Bailey said the deal "further enhances our number one position", and that the deal would see Manheim step up its "activity in the digital online space".

He added: "We're just simplifying the trusted exchange of used vehicles and the industry is in an exciting phase of development, with the digital environment playing an increasingly significant role."

Richard Mills, MD and owner of Doncaster-based European Vehicle Sales, said: "Modern technology provides so many opportunities for our business and customers alike. "With EVS Online Auctions we developed a fantastic proposition by harnessing technology and developing a super-efficient online sales channel. Manheim has the presence and resources to take this to the next level," he added.

James Davis, Manheim director of CVs, will head up the EVS Online Auctions team.

"What many people don't realise is that Manheim already sells more than 60% of its trucks online via Simulcast, our online bidding service that connects remote buyers into our live physical auctions.

"Our fundamental role is as 'market-makers' and we will enhance our truck and trailer remarketing operation into a world-class business, delivering unrivalled product offerings, service and results," he added.

EVS business development director Mark Spavins will work in a business-development capacity headed by Manheim, and will be involved in driving Manheim's truck and trailer growth strategy.

"With the addition of a new digital channel for trucks and trailers, along with other addedvalue services, we now have an unrivalled vendor proposition to take to the market," he said.
