Roy Anderson becomes manager of the coaching company, Midland Red (Express), based at Digbeth Coach Station, Mr Lutman has been seconded to the Scottish Bus Group since 1979, Mr Bayliss is currently traffic manager with West Yorkshire Road Car, while Ken Mills has been MAP regional co-ordinator for NBC's Midlands and West
Region since 1978. Ian Mitchell is currently traffic manager of Yorkshire Traction, and Roy Anderson has been with NBC's Market Analysis Project Team since 1978. The new managers will become involved in prelaunch planning from July.
The present general manager of Midland Red becomes managing director of London Country Bus Services on July 1. Colin Chubb started as a technical assistant with Devon General at Torquay and spent four of his 23 years in the bus industry as general manager at United Counties before joining Midland Red in 1979. He succeeds David Fytche who has become the director of NBC's south-east region.
