• As well as boosting services (see above), City of Oxford has raised fares on two of its Oxford park-and-ride services to match its other two, following the city's decision to reduce its subsidy by 215,000 a year to 429,000.
The increase raises the return fare to 70p before 9.30 am Monday to Friday and 60p at all other times.
COMS operates 10 vehicles on the services, which it says succeeds partly because of frequent operation, bus lanes and severe restrictions on city centre parking.
