I Dennis Specialist Vehicles Id East Lancashire Coachbuilms have developed a lowdght bus based on the Dorniitor chassis. Designed to ieet the needs of ex-National us companies, it has a
20mm (4.75in)-drop gangway ithe lower deck and uses the :andard Kirkstall rear aide. Earlier low-height Dorninan-s had a special drop centre de. Front-end layout is 'altered: a low driving position as already an option.
The first two low-height orninators will be bodied by ast Lancs for Drawlanewned Midland Red North in larch 1990. Eight for Crosvil! and four for North Western follow in April.
The new chassis/body cornination will provide a loweight alternative to the Leynd Olympian.
