Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BP OIL'S new Lowmax tanker is the first semi-trailer in the UK to feature Grau Girling's Category One DGX antilock braking system. In addition, the ERF E14 6x2 twinsteer tractive unit is installed with the Grau Girling system, which in total provides the BP rig with all-round ABS protection.

The tanker, jointly developed by BP Oil and Charles Roberts Engineering, represents BP's commitment to road safety and technical innovation for the 1990s.

Grau Girling's Skidchek DGX system was chosen for the tanker by BP Oil's transport engineering manager Brian Veale, who comments: "We have been using Grau Girling's GX and MGX Skidchek systems for some time with highly satisfactory results. The Lowmax tanker represents the ulti mate in safety technology and we believe it could form the basis for future European legislation. With this in mind we decided Skidchek DGX was a natural progression." The tank-trailer has Rubery Owen-Rockwell axles and each hub features an anti-lock sensor and exciter.
