• WHEN a tank transporter was severely damaged when the tank it was carrying rolled off the trailer, the accident, says Humberside company H & L Garages, of Killingholme, it was a welcome test, for its has since secured the contract for the repairs.
H & L Garages flew in an expert from Sweden to supervise the operation. He is Jonas Samuelsson. who invented the Josam chassis straightening equipment to re-align vehicle frames.
The company has recently installed this equipment at new commercial vehicle bc repair centre, part of a El n lion expansion repair progra me at the Killinghokne depot Samuelsson was invited come over since this was first time H & L has used equipment on such a rnassi vehicle, Bodyshop manager Ste Booth was therefore able provide his staff with first-ha experience of repairing sucI large vehicle.
