• Saxon Trucks aims to improve the driver appeal of the Hino HS 283 tractive unit with a 'High-liner' luxury cab conversion.
The extra height provides space on the outside for an illuminated name panel, while the ventilation hatch in the roof is retained. The High-liner package also incorporates aerodynamic rear wings and a bumper air dam with cooling vents for the brakes.
The luxury specification includes a 245mm (10in) colour television with remote control and multi-finder aerial, stereo radio/cassette; 12V power point, heated mirrors, two bunks, stowage under the bunks and above the seats, thermostatically-controlled he; ter and curtains all round.
Hino Trucks was out in for' at the Kent County Show this year, where Crayford-based Acorn Truck Sales displayed selection of of vehicles destined for G-registration (see photo).
Among the tipper bodies w; a Ihno destined for Folkestoni based Kwik Skips and fitted with a Hyva skip loader.
