FORMER operations director of Lowfield Distribution, Brian Riley, has joined Longton Storage and Transport of Stoke-on-Trent as managing director. He takes over from Joe Bowers, who retains his position as chairman of the Longton group's storage division.
Mr Riley's brief at Longton, whose activities include warehousing, distribution, genera/ haulage, bulk liquid movements and export packing, is to consolidate the business and examine ways of expanding the company's interests.
