BRYAN DRIVER, managing director of Freightliners, British Rail's lorry-operating container transport subsidiary, is taking on the additional post of chairman. This will follow the resignation at the end of this month of James Urquhart, Freightliners chairman for the. past two years.
Peter Allsebrook, a Freightliner board member since 1979, is appointed to the new post of deputy chairman.
