• In a £775,000 deal, Charles Roberts of Wakefield has bought W. P. Butterfield (Engineers) Ltd, of Shipley.
The Roberts company has stated that there will be a rationalization of the products of the Wakefield and Shipley factories, whose bodybuilding facilities will now form a sizeable unit in the road tank industry.
