• Five Mercedes 406D vans, converted for use as buses for the disabled, are on order by the London Borough of Hounslow. The vehicles, which will join three similar ones already operating, can carry 15 seated passengers or eight wheelchairs. They will be used for carrying handicapped or elderly people and will have rear-mounted tail-lifts.
