Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Due to a misunderstanding, in a report in Commercial Motor of July 20, it was stated that Anderson Brothers, Markinch, Fife, were one of three firms of hauliers referred to in a Granada Television World in Action programme on July 16.

We wish to make clear that Anderson Brothers of Markinch, were not the firm referred to and were in no way concerned with the subject matter of the programme.

We regret any inconvenience which our reference may have caused.

Pirelli has now released this drawing showing what its radical new low-profile tyre will look like "in the flesh". (Cross-section diagrams appeared in CM on June 22). The company claims the new section provides greater protection from blowouts, better roadholding, more stability, greater comfort and quieter running.
