TRE managing director of Spinks Transport Co., Darlington, Mr. itanley Spinks, was granted the renewal if his A licence by the Northern eicensing Authority at Darlington last veek.
He was represented by Mr. T. H. :ampbell Wardlaw, who asked him about he company's work and other licences. Vtr. Spinks said they had a nightly trunk ervice to the London area and held an It licence for the Metropolitan Area. The licence expires in November, this 'ear; there were no objections to the ipplication.
The renewal, said Mr. Wardlaw, was
o have approved in it the inclusion of ither items not mentioned in the present icence. These were for carriage of road}lidding materials and paint. At present he company carried salt and chemicals, .sut steel accounted for 95 per cent. of .heir work and they carried this for Nhessoe,. Ltd., Darlington, and for 3arlington and Simpson Rolling M ills.
