Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FUTURE OF Britain's only independent van manufacturer hinges on the success of its all-new Maxus range, launched this week.

LDV has seen its market share dwindle during the past three years as a result of its aging Pilot and Convoy models and has high hopes for the new model. Maxus enters the highly competitive medium panel van market where it will go head to head with Ford'sTransit.Mercedes' Sprinter and Iveco's Industry experts attending the launch in Rotherham were impressed by both the spec level and the build quality of the new van. This, and the strength of LDV's dealer network, suggests a potentially strong market assault.

The range initially includes 20 variations based on two wheelbases, three roof heights and three GVWs. Two 2.5-litre common-rail turbo-diesels, at 95 and 120hp, offer front wheel drive via a fivespeed transmission. Ex-VAT prices range from 112,995 for the 2.8/95 with a short wheelbase and standard roof, to £18,995 for the 3.5/120 with a long wheelbase.
