2 eyland DAFaid is not afraid to throw figures into the melting pot to describe a year in its truck recovery operation that has seen 42,030 (-ails for assistance—said to be 10% more than in 1992.
More than 80% of these vehicles were back on the road within an average of one hour 43 minutes, claimed tube a 12% reduction on the average completion time in 1992.
Taking the vehicle to a workshop saw a fall of 4 u -o in completion time and calls from operators of non-Leyland Daf trucks nose by 30%.
