NOTICE of strike action has been served by more than 600 drivers in Coventry.

They claim their employers want them to accept a worsening of conditions.

The men, who recently negotiated a 15 per cent pay increase, want their holiday pay to be based on a 55-hour average week, or 50 hours plus £10, whichever is the greater.

The Coventry men have four weeks holiday after one year based on 50 hours basic pay.
