MORE candidates sitting the Certificate of Professional Co petence exams for psv operations have passed their exams th those sitting for hgv operations.

A spokesman for the Royal "Society of Arts told CM this week that about 60 per cent of those taking the exam for psv operations had passed, whereas about 50 per cent had • passed the hgv operations exam.

Both categories referred to certificates for national operations.

So far there have been four sittings of the exams, and up to now "only a handful of candidates" have attempted to gain certificates for int national work.
