Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Remember my predictions last week about the new power unit, the new 1 6-tonner's improved production figures? Well, look out next week, the first one will materialise and how. My stargazing tells me this is quite a power unit with a vast reduction in smoke emission, a noticeable increase in power and a reduction in thirst.

But this forecasting is getting to be a habit: I must stop it after this one. Look out for a new British-built heavy before the end of the year with yet another improved engine. It's almost becoming a soap opera —"it is new, vastly improved, and all the other terms that the jingoists use are applicable, but my belief is that we've got something to sing about, perhaps even shout about.

Next week is "make-yourmind-up time" on the first prediction and I give it nine out of ten for performance. We've kept back one point on the basis that there's always room for improvement.
