Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE of Britain's few privately owned commercial vehicle brake-testing centres is to be installed by the Pointer Group at its main Norwich transport depot.

The £5,000 centre will be on similar lines to MoT commercial vehicle brake-testing stations. The centre should be operational within the next three months.

Mr. Fred Wright, a director of Pointer Group Transport, said: "Now that Ministry brake tests for all commercial vehicles are to be compulsory, Lt is essential for us with our large fleet to maintain strict checks on our vehicles. This is the only really effective way of our knowing that our fleet meets Ministry requirements for braking efficiency and safety. Pointer operates a fleet of 500 vehicles, mostly on A licence.

"We will welcome any other commercial road user who would like to make use of this new :entre. Where public safety is involved, this is a Icility which we would not wish to restrict to 3ur own use."
