for the National Coach Rally which is to be organized by the Wigan and District Excursion and Tour Operators' Association in conjunction with Blackpool Attraction and Publicity Department. The first entrant will leave Wigan at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 8. for a scheduled road section with Blackpool as the destination. On arrival, there will be driving tests on the Middle Walk of the Promenade.

In the evening, the Mayor of Blackpool will give a reception and dance in the Spanish Hall at the Winter Gardens. A concours d'elegance takes place on the Middle Walk—if wet at Blackpool Corporation Transport depot—on the Sunday morning, with the finals of the driving tests and presentation of awards in the afternoon.
