111 Police in the North-East are to interview dozens haulage workers in a bid to catch a serial arsonist who h; caused millions of pounds worth of damage across ti region.

The arsonist has attacked nine truck and bus depots the North-East, causing £17m in damage and lost revem (CM27 Jun-I Jul 2002).

Officers will question staff at all the premises target: including Newcastle-based Simpson Brothers, who tu eight trucks damaged and Union Trucks, where 15 vehich and trailers were attacked.
