• A report out this week says that customers in the UK do not demand such high distribution service standards as their continental counterparts.
The Institute of Logistics Distribution Management report says that fewer than half of the respondents in the UK and the Netherlands define a service requirement in their contracts — France and Germany demand higher service from hauliers according to the survey, which had 800 respondents.
