• The receiver of National Welsh has closed two of the company's three remaining depots — it has been trying to sell since it was called in last month (CM 9-15 Jan).
The 200 drivers at Bridgend and Caerphilly have been made redundant, but most have found work with competitors Badgerline and South Wales Transport, says KPMG Peat Marwick. It still hopes to sell the Barry depot, which operates a fleet of 50.
