MR. PHILIP BROSTER, overseas technical and sales representative of Fodens, Ltd., is visiting countries in the Middle East, meeting the company's agents during a four-month tour.
LORD LArti vo, chairman of the London Transport Executive, has decided to return to his professional practice when his term of office with the L.T.E. expires at the end of September.
MR. A. E. WALFERS, previously assistant export sales manager of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., has joined Anthony Hoists, Ltd., as export manager. He will shortly visit Africa, the Persian Gulf, Turkey 'and Greece.
MR. W. H. ADAMS, operating superintendent of the South Western Division of the Road Haulage Executive, has retired. He joined the Chaplins organization at Fratton in 1908, and has given 46 years' continuous service.
MR. G. G. SWILL and MR. L. R. JOHNSTON have been appointed to the board of C.A.V., Ltd. Mr. Savill joined the concern in 1916 as an apprentice. Mr. Johnston joined the company in 1937 as a chartered accountant and , became secretary in 1947.
