The article "Putting on the style" (CM, December 6) was very interesting in many ways.
As our three best known manufacturers all use the same stylist it is no wonder most British coaches look so similar, and one can understand why the discerning operator purchases Continental bodies to "break away".
Is our coach industry as badly in need of stylists as our car industry, whereby all the modern designs in cars originate from Italy?
Where is the 1975 equivalent of the old Burlingham "Seagull" for instance, or the functional Midland Red coaches of past years.
