Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Employing a new principle of shot circulation, Penfold Metallising Co. Ltd. have produced a greatly simplified shotblast room system, avoiding the heavy expense normally associated with this type of equipment.

No extra power and no moving parts are needed to clean the abrasive and reload the blast machine, as the abundant available compressed air is used between blasting sessions.

Exhaust ducting is eliminated and efficient ventilation and dust collection—even for a large blast room requires only a 1hp extractor fan.

Any room can be converted, or one may be built of steel sheet and angle iron. If conventional building materials are used they must be protected with rubber sheet. The only excavation necessary is a 2ft cube, to accept a feed hopper into which spent abrasive is

Swept.

The system is based on one of the six sizes of spherical power blast machines marketed by this company.

A further feature of this system is that this machine is in no way attached and can be removed for a site blasting job at any time. Further, a second blast hopper may be incorporated in the system, where it is desirable to use two grades or types of abrasive without the need to empty the entire system.
