Bloctube Controls has announced an improved version of its fluorescent inspection • lamp. Containing a 12in. 8W tube to give increased light output, the design has also been modified to permit replacement of the tube.

It is ideal for use where conventional inspection lamps arc either too fragile or too large Purpose-built, the lamp will withstand the wear and tear of everyday industrial and garage life including knocks and drops and is only of 2in. diameter at its widest point.

The lamp is produced in versions suitable for 240V or for 110V mains supply 50 or 60 cycles, or for 24V or 12V direct current supply. Twelve feet of mains lead is supplied as standard.
