Tekmar Electronics has announced a vehicle public address system especially designed for one-man operated buses.

This economical system is the result of two years' experience in this field since the introduction of one-man buses in Sweden in 1966. Already several thousand of these units are in constant use.

A leading feature of the equipment is that it is not susceptible to interference from other electrical apparatus in the vehicle. The system is extremely compact, the amplifier and three loudspeakers being mounted in one unit which fits into the roof. Additional loudspeakers, including external ones, can be fitted and run off the same amplifier. The system is easy to install and maintain. Directional sound avoids attenuation of the message in crowded vehicles.

Power output is 37 DBM, the frequency response 300/8.000 cycles, power consumption 8W and supply voltage 24V (lc.
