Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I would like to draw attention to matters raised at an inquiry held recently in Bangor, North Wales, (CM December 13) relative to maintenance as required by the North-Western Licensing Authority and concerning Grey Motors Ltd., Caernarvonshire, hauliers.

The Automobile Palace (Trucks) Ltd. were not represented at that inquiry and had therefore no opportunity of making any refutation of allegations made against them.

The facts are that they are currently in correspondence with the Licensing Authority and will provide evidence to prove that following the first hearing in September, Grey Motors Ltd. did not submit any vehicles for inspection as arranged, other than one vehicle which proved to be beyond economical repair and was in fact disposed of. Other work, mentioned as carried out, related only to specific day-to-day faults.

J. HESKETH-SMITH, Director and General Manager, The Automobile Palace Ltd., Llandudno, Caems.
