Remember Sam Gray, the 1968 Lorry Driver of the Year? When Sam was at the Commercial Motor Show in London he was presented with a Bostrom seat for his vehicle. Last week the seat was fitted and now Sam views the lakes of Killarney in comfort.

It seems that everyone is cashing in on the interest in road transport created by the Act. One man with a set of good vocal chords, Red Simpson, has found his way into a number of homes this year on a Capitol disc with real topicality. On one side he sings "Truck Drivin' Fool" and the flip (other to you) side it's "Roll, Truck, Roll".
