Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An air-fluidizing discharge cone that is made of fabric and is inflatable is an important space-saving feature of a new bulkpowder bin that has been developed by Highcron Ltd., 14 Aylmer Parade, London, N2, a member of the Marling Industries group of companies. When not in use the cone lies flat on the base of the bin and thus increases its load capacity. The maker claims that it enables an extra 20/25 per cent of material to be carried compared with a bin equipped with a rigid discharge cone. It has been named the Flexicone bin.

The bin is suitable for a wide range of chemicals, dyestuffs, foodstuffs and polymers in dry-powder or granular form. It is designed for bottom discharge and there is no restriction on the height of the side walls. The consumption of compressed air is small, while the absence of a fixed cone and legs allows for very rigid construction. Bins of any capacity can be built to suit customers' requirements.
