• An international conference, "Polymers in transport", is to be organized jointly by London sections of the Institution of the Rubber Industry and the Plastics Institute at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on February 18 and 19 1969. The provisional programme includes papers on the following: containers; seals; direct glazing; the belted bias tyre; tyre design in the future; tyres and the MoT.
