Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Independent remould tyre manufacturer Bandvulc has secured a contract worth about 4:500,000 a year to supply tyres to United Carriers.

A range of tyres will be used by the United Carriers fleet and the vehicles operated by Carpet Express and Mansped. The total fleets comprise some 800 rigid vans, 400 tractor units and 1,550 trailers.

Richard O'Connell, sales director at Bandvulc, says: "We are delighted to have this opportunity of working with United Carriers. Ralph Atkinson, United Carriers' technical services director, adds: "We look forward to developing a cost-effec tive and efficient long-term tyre policy with the help of Bandvulc."
