Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Partco has been appointed as sole UK distributor of the Danish-made Lowener range of wheel alignment equipment. Its Megaflex system is designed for commercial vehicles, trailers and coaches, for wheel sizes from 14 to 26 inches in diameter, and checks and measures camber, caster, KPI and toe-in/toe-out and toe-out on turns. Like Combiflex, Megaflex compensates for set-back.

The measurements are made optically/mechanically with the front wheels placed on turntables. No scales or rulers are placed on the floor. The Megaflex system may also be used to check chassis alignment and to detect twist in the vehicle body or trailer.

Commenting on the decision to become distributors, Martin Ellis, marketing manager of garage equipment at Partco says: "Lowener are the pioneers of vehicle alignment systems, and their Optiflex alignment equipment introduced in the Sixties is still in daily use in hundreds of garages throughout the country.

"Equipment of this standard has been in limited supply in the UK in recent years, but with wheel alignment facilities becoming a requirement for VBRA membership, there is increasing demand for sophisticated equipment from bodyshops and main dealers."
