• Sidekick — an all-in-one 230 volt 13arnp compact MIG welding set from Miller — has been added to the product range of Interlas Welding Products, which reckons it should prove popular with repair shops, farms, garages, auto body shops and similar establishments who are involved in welding materials as thin as 1.2mm thick.
The unit has been designed by Miller in conjunction with Alloy Rods for use with AR's new small diameter gasless flux cored wires.
Among the features of Sidekick, which comes complete with a wire feeder and gun, is a four-position weld selector switch and a fine adjustment control. Optional extras include running gear/cylinder rack and a castor kit.
