• All areas which accommodate vehicles, from garage forecourts and maintenance areas to ambulance bays, to AA vehicle recovery and repair depots have common problems and special needs, says Lamacrest.
Vehicle showroom areas need prestige finishes in pleasing colours; repair and maintenance areas need rugged, abrasion-resistant surfaces. All the areas need jointless, oil and chemical resistant surfaces. All these flooring needs can be satisfied, it says, by products in the Lamacrest Autofloor range of epoxy floorings.
Lamacrest laboratories have also developed specialised fireretardant surfaces to British standard. Heat resistant floors which can be hosed down by high-pressure hot water without any danger of damage to the surfaces are also included in the range.
Lamacrest products have been laid in showrooms for Ford, British Leyland and Mercedes, in AA maintenance establishments and at the new West Harn hospital ambulance complex.
